MTZ Clutch Disc 80/82 (Sport)

This is a ceramic clutch disc specifically designed for extreme loads, such as tractor pulling or heavy industrial applications.

1. Construction and materials
Metal-ceramic pads (copper- or bronze-based). These can withstand temperatures at which a standard disc would burn or glaze.
Number of pads: 6-puck design. The gaps between the pads promote rapid cooling and help remove dust from the friction surfaces.
Mounting: The pads are riveted to a steel plate, ensuring structural rigidity during sudden starts.

2. Spline connection (shaft compatibility)
Hub material: Hardened steel core (heat-treated) to prevent spline wear and shaft damage under sudden load changes.
Center: Rigid (without damping springs) hub. This ensures immediate and aggressive engagement, which is essential in racing conditions but requires precise clutch control.
